Magic Formula Investing in India – The Wizard Behind Gotham Funds!

Recognizing the Magic Formula Investing in India: At the height of his career, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was dubbed "the Midas of investing." While Indian market speculators admired him from afar, few could match his investment success.

To determine whether you are a good investor, compare the performance of your personal portfolio to that of major indices such as the SENSEX and NIFTY. If your average year-on-year return has been higher in recent years, you can congratulate yourself on a job well done in the market.
So, what strategies do you employ to improve your investing skills?
The Magic Formula Investing strategy, developed by Joel Greenblatt, is one strategy you can learn.

The Man Behind the Scheme
Joel Greenblatt, a former hedge fund manager and investor, developed the strategy and published it in his book The Little Book That Beat The Market in 2005. The book was later revised and republished under the title The Little Book That Still Outperforms the Market.

Prior to the publication of his book, he wrote a report titled "How the Small Investor Can Beat the Market," which was published in The Journal Of Portfolio Management. Greenblatt is the founder of Gotham Asset Management and a former fund manager. Micheal Burry, who wanted to start his own hedge fund, Scion Capital Management, in 2000, had Gotham Asset Management as one of his backers. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
