Blue World City: plan
Blue World City may be a mixed use development on Greater Iqbal Town in Islamabad, Pakistan. The multi-phase project are going to be completed after 2020 and involve construction of residential buildings, commercial spaces, public facilities like schools, healthcare centers etc., recreational areas like parks and outdoor sports facilities for residents of Blue World City. it's located adjacent to the intersection of Jinnah Avenue and Iqbal Town Road.
It was designed by international architecture firm, CollinsWoermann in 2017. The plan for Blue World City includes three distinct but inter-related components: a billboard area; residential areas with community serving retail space; and an open green environment which will promote community interaction and connectivity.
The plan includes a good range of facilities such as:

- Retail Areas
- Multipurpose Sports Complexes (basketball, tennis, squash)
- Swimming Pools & Recreational Facilities (indoor and outdoor) for youngsters and adults

- Outdoor Amphitheater for community gatherings, events, festivals etc.
Blue World City is found near the proposed route of the Orange Line Metro Train which can provide quick access to all or any areas within more Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). The project has been designed as a sustainable development to satisfy the requirements of future generations. additionally , it'll even have facilities for electric cars and other alternative fuel vehicles as a part of its green initiative.
As a part of the plan , Blue World City are going to be connected to its neighbor areas via the IJ Principal Road and a metro rail station.
