What is shot blasting?
Shot blasting is a resurfacing process used to remove debris and unevenness from concrete, metal, and other industrial surfaces. While similar to the shot blasting process, shot blasting differs in both performance and effectiveness.
The shot blasting machine process uses a centrifugal blast wheel that shoots media, such as steel shot, to a surface at high speed. This frees the surface of debris and other materials. The abrasive media, which from steel shot to cut wire and nut shells, is loaded into a hopper that feeds the blast wheel. Media can "blow up" just about anything from rust to epoxy.

How shot blasting works?
Shot blasting involves shooting a high pressure jet of abrasive material (also known as projectiles or shot blasting media) against the surface of a metal part. Depending on the application, the shots can be powered by a pressurized fluid (such as compressed air) or by a centrifugal wheel (known as wheel blasting).
The size, shape and density of the shots will determine the final result. The types of metal abrasives used in blasting include steel shots, copper slag, and aluminum oxide. Other blasting methods use silica sand, glass beads, synthetic materials like baking soda (baking soda), and even agricultural materials like crushed grains.
