Polyamideimide Fibers

Polyimide (abbreviated PI) is a type of high-performance plastic made comprised of polymers containing imide groups. Polyimides are used in a variety of applications that need tough organic materials, such as high-temperature fuel cells, displays, and different military functions, because to their excellent heat resistance.

The chemical structure of Polyamideimide Fibers differs significantly; polyamide has amide (-CONH-) linkages in its polymer backbone, whereas polyimide has an imide group (-CO-N-OC-) in its polymer backbone.
