UKG Earns 2020 TrustRadius Tech Cares Award
UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), a leading global provider of HCM, payroll, HR service delivery, and workforce management solutions, announced today that the company has earned a 2020 Tech Cares award

UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), a leading global provider of HCM, payroll, HR service delivery, and workforce management solutions, announced today that the company has earned a 2020 Tech Cares award from TrustRadius. The inaugural, nomination-based award recognizes companies that have gone beyond the usual scope of business to serve their customers, employees, and the community amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Companies are eligible to receive a Tech Cares award from TrustRadius by either nomination through a vetted survey or through reviews on the platform in which customers specifically reference how a company has supported them through COVID-19. In earning the award, UKG received both nominations and qualifying reviews for providing exceptional service during the pandemic. In addition, UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro) and UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready) are top rated for 2020 by TrustRadius in HR Management, Talent Management, Payroll, Workforce Management, and Compensation Management categories.

“Caring for people around the world has always been a core part of our company’s culture, and today, supporting our employees, customers, and the community is as crucial as it has ever been,” said John Machado, chief technology officer at UKG. “We are grateful to be recognized by TrustRadius with a Tech Cares award and extend our praise to all of the companies working tirelessly to help others during this pandemic. As the world evolves and needs change, we will continue to provide innovative solutions, so organizations can continue to care for their employees, stay connected, and work effectively, wherever they work.”

To support organizations and their employees during COVID-19, UKG released a number of resources and new solution features, available to customers at no extra cost. This includes:

  • An employee contact-tracing capability to help businesses support essential workers during the pandemic and manage a safe reopening protocol for the future. The capability analyzes labor records and time and attendance data, so organizations can quickly identify and communicate with employees who may have come in contact with a co-worker who tested positive or is presumed positive for COVID-19. This also allows companies to partner with health officials to ensure their people receive proper care and direction to help reduce the risk of further transmission.
  • Product enhancements to help companies navigate business challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, such as features for navigating new employer-related legislation, new At-Risk Crisis Pulse and Return-to-Work Readiness employee-survey templates, and tools for instant communication and sending notifications to employees.
  • An external thought-leadership resource hub that provides UKG customers, HR professionals, and business leaders with tools to lead through times of uncertainty. It is updated regularly with webcasts, whitepapers, blog posts, and other assets to aid companies of all sizes and industries as they navigate COVID-19 and the impact it has on employees and business.

UKG has also remained committed to caring for its people and the greater community during the pandemic. In April, the company established an Employee Relief Fund to financially support employees and their family members adversely impacted by COVID-19, as well as donated to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy Global COVID-19 Response Fund. Together, company leaders and employees have raised more than $2 million in vital relief for people around the world.

Employees have also donated their time and resources during the pandemic, sewing face masks and 3D-printing face shields for frontline workers in the community, delivering thousands of meals to hospitals and first responders, and volunteering virtually with a variety of non-profit organizations. To assist working parents, UKG has provided free virtual camps throughout the summer and fall; unlimited access to more than 3,000 online tutors; and a curated Kids’ Corner website open to the public, with a variety of educational resources and entertainment to help parents balance remote work and home-schooling.
