The Bark Park would be communicated as Chief Gary K. Tyler Memorial Bark Park.

Tyler was a Police chief and prior to his retirement, he served in police department for more than 23 years.  It was Tyler who worked for the residents of South Windsor to create an off-leash dog park and he was supposed to be a man with good nature.

Tyler had died in August and he is remembered for his all good deeds done for the department and for the community.
