Radio Waatea is Aucklands’ only M?ori radio station that provides an extensive bi-lingual broadcast to its listeners. Based at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, it is located in the middle of the biggest Maori population in Aotearoa.

Maori radio station

Maori Radio Station is an online and terrestrial radio station that broadcasts to the Maori community in Aotearoa/New Zealand. The station was established in 2006 and is owned by Manaaki Whenua Maori Television, a company registered with the Broadcasting Standards Authority of New Zealand. The station airs programs in te Reo Maori, English, and Pākehā. Programming includes news, current affairs, music, children's programming, and religious services.
