PUBG New State, the next-gen mobile battle royale game from Battlegrounds Mobile India developers Krafton, has launched in India.

PUBG New State is set in the year 2051, and features modern weapons and gadgets to bring a different flavour to the battle royale game mode. Customisable guns and flying drones are featured in the game.

The game also promises next-gen graphics on mobile, bringing character movement, gunplay, and game physics from the PC game PUBG: Battlegrounds.

PUBG New State was slated to launch in India on November 11 at 9:30 AM IST. However, many users described facing problems while logging in to the game, and were not able to play at the stated time.

Krafton then released a statement saying that due to the large inflow of users in a short time period, the game was experiencing issues, and promised to resolve the issue swiftly. As of 12:00 PM IST, users were able to log in and play the game.

Based on the iOS system requirements for PUBG New State, players with iPhone 6s and up will be able to play the new game.
