Keep your home ventilated using Timloc building product

Underfloor & through wall ventilation

Ventilation in buildings is vital. Properties need natural ventilation to prevent stale air and dangerous gases from developing.

At Timloc, we offer a range of underfloor and through wall solutions that provide passive ventilation into spaces. They are quick and easy to install and comply with Building Regulations, NHBC stipulations, and British Standards.

Our through wall products include a range of vents and accessories, which allow cross ventilation and wind-induced ventilation to pass through external walls and bring air into a room. This not only aids general background airflow, but it can make a safer environment for spaces with heat-producing appliances.

Timloc’s underfloor products provide ventilation openings within suspended floor voids to create a flow of fresh air and prevent condensation, stagnant air and issues with radon and methane gas.

Underfloor Ventilation

If a building uses a suspended ground floor, it is important to provide underfloor ventilation into the void.

This prevents condensation, removes stagnant air, and is vital in areas where radon or methane gas may pose a problem.

Airbricks and External Cowls

An effective, robust and durable airbrick ventilator presenting an equivalent area of 6170mm² (free area of 6500mm²).

Ideal for underfloor or room ventilation applications when used with the Timloc telescopic underfloor vent or cavity sleeve.

Features & Benefits

Unique stepped front grille greatly reduces the entry of wind-driven rain

Available in a range of colors to blend in with various brick types

Very tough and robust

Durable and totally resistant to decay

Through Wall Ventilation

Through-wall ventilation provides passive ventilation through external walls into habitable rooms.

It is important to differentiate between:

  • Wall vents which are required to provide general background ventilation
  • Wall vents that provide air into a room which contains a heat-producing appliance, such as a central heating boiler or gas fire

Timloc offers a range of through-the-wall vent solutions, for both general background ventilation and to provide ventilation to heat-producing appliances in both new-build and retro-fit projects.

Drill Vent

Let your walls breathe with Drill Vent by Timloc.

This new and improved retrospective cavity wall weep is designed with high air flow and is perfect for venting timber frames and both high and low-level ventilation and drainage to an external cavity wall.

The Drill Vent by Timloc is quick and easy to install. Its circular design allows for an efficient ventilation air flow of 335m², which is 25% more air flow than the previous design. And its integral curved louvres reduce entry of wind driven rain.

The Drill Vent is available in a range of colours including clear, terracotta and buff and can be purchased in pack quantities of 100 or more.

Internal Metal Grilles

Internal metal ventilation grilles are a range of metal louvre grilles, hit and miss vents and return air grilles manufactured in high quality pressed aluminium. (Please note that hit & miss grilles must not be used for ventilation in connection with gas appliances).

Available in three types of finish: plain aluminum (A), brass anodised (BA) and polished brass (PB).

Louvre grilles are a permanently open vent with no flyscreen or closing method but with visible airflow marking to comply with the requirements of BS5440 Part 2 2000 and BS EN 13141-1 2004 (suitable for gas appliance ventilation).

Adjustable (hit & miss) grilles can be open or closed with an integral flyscreen (not suitable for gas appliance ventilation).

Attractive products for sustaining airflow and reducing draughts.
