Breath Analyzer
An improved breath analyzer device for use in a vehicle ignition locking system. A breath sample tube collects a user's breath sample. An air flow restrictor divides the breath sample tube into two sections: high pressure and low pressure. When a user blows into the breath analysing device, a pressure sensor is linked to the high pressure part. The temperature of the breath sample is measured by a temperature sensor to ensure that it is the same temperature as human breath. A micropump drives a predetermined volume of breath sample into a fuel cell, which determines the alcohol concentration.
