Under Phase-II of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Program of MNRE, a comprehensive action plan has been designed for incentivization of rooftop solar uptake by DISCOMs with a special focus on the residential sector.
The key objectives of the MNRE phase-II program include promoting grid-connected rooftop solar plants in all consumer segments, bring DISCOMs at the forefront as key drivers for rooftop solar plants, and creating additional rooftop solar capacity in the country.
