Many authors and aspiring writers say they don't have enough time to finish or even begin their books.

A few people raised their hands when I asked them at a recent speaking event how many wanted to write books. Then I asked the audience how many people would write a book if given the opportunity and the knowledge to do so. 95% of them responded!

A normal paperback book might have 6-12 pages for a chapter. Each page could contain between 250-300 words. If you're 'in flow' you can write a chapter in half an hour to one day. You should avoid editing and researching as you go along. For example, writing a book of twelve chapters will take you 6 to 12 days. This time will either be found or hired by a ghostwriter. These questions will help you find the time.

It is well-known that switching tasks can lead to five wasted minutes. In preparation for writing, ensure you won't be interrupted.

If you don't have one, get one. Your mobile phone should be turned off. Your emails may be viewed every time they arrive. You can set your email application to receive them every four hours. how to become a professional writer

You can show discipline and write on a specific day if you are able to. Your family, friends, and colleagues will appreciate it and be able to forgive you. To relax and switch off, you might watch two hours of soaps each evening. Although it might sound counterintuitive, creativity can have many therapeutic and relaxing benefits once you get rid of this bad habit. You may even be able to write your soap!

This is a great time management tip, even though it sounds counterintuitive. Spend 20-30 minutes meditation before each writing session. You don't have to know how to meditate, or struggle with your mind shutting down. Tai Chi, yoga, Pilates, and stretching are all great options. What could be more satisfying than being fit and having some'me-time' while also writing a book?
