Food Allergy Testing
Allergy testing looks at IgE antibodies. This is a specific immune reaction to food that involves mast cells, and is different than food sensitivity testing. Food allergies are less common than food sensitivities. Food allergy testing can be helpful, but most people are not allergic to any foods, whereas they are sensitive to many.
