Moonrise Lodges, there are several acres of family farmland to explore. Our beautiful private lake is just a 5-minute stroll from your secluded lodge. Spend an afternoon retreating to the lake and spend quality time with your friends or family, whilst indulging in a spot of wild swimming, bobbing about in the rowing boat, making dens or playing hide and seek in the tress.
Perched on the edge of the lake is a rustic fishing lodge, fully equipped with electric heaters, camping chairs and a camping stove to make tasty hot drinks. So, if wild swimming isn’t for you, you can sit beside the lake with a delicious hot chocolate and watch the world go by or enjoy any of the other great things to enjoy at Moonrise Lodges.
Welcome to Moonrise Lodges in Shropshire, two beautiful lodges set on our family farm in the Shropshire Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Both lodges share the same stunning views across the farm and beyond. It’s the perfect destination to relax and recharge. Located on the border you can explore the highlights of Shropshire and Wales too, including Iron Bridge, Montgomery, Ludlow. Powys Castle and much more.
Farming and the countryside are our passions and we, Caroline and Jonathan, hope to share them with you. During your stay, you are welcome to join us on a tour of the farm, explore our lake, and fish for trout or try wild swimming!*
After a busy day retreat to the tranquil luxury of the lodge and relax in your private hot tub, enjoy the view with a drink from the decking or enjoy the sunset by your firepit.
* To fish you will need to bring your own fly fishing tackle and swimming is at your own risk.
