Many countries lead to other countries, the thing is to keep your important documents with you whenever you are on a road trip. When you are in Afghanistan, you can move to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Similarly when you’re in India, you can move to Bhutan, Nepal or Bangladesh.

In the same way, with a opening of Bangkok, you can visit Thailand and Bangladesh also. The thing is to keep your documents with you in any case. Essentials and Permits:

1. Documents for Nepal:

Exclusion:

• No Passport.
• No Visa.

Inclusions:

• Essential permits are required which are called ‘BHANSAR’ in the local language in order to cross border.
• You need to enter Kakarbhitta to fulfill essential permits.

• Permissions are required from the authorities. (costs Rs 350 per day)
• Nepal Number Plate on your own car. (costs Rs 100)

2. Documents for Thailand

Inclusions:

• You would need a Passport( valid upto 6 months)
• International driving license will be required.
• Carnet- so that you will be able to drive freely like a free bird flies.
• You have to pay a refundable amount of 200% of your vehicle’s value to obtain this permit from Indian Automobile Association of India.

• Immigration Permits which you can avail at the office at Phuentsholing.
• Jaigon is another border where you can fulfil all your permits

You can drive to Tuticorin port inTamil Nadu and get to Columbo port from here via The Scotia Prince ferry. It offers drive in and out facility in Srilanka.

There is another beautiful small island and cheap holiday destination’ Singapore’. This is famous for its architecture, food and culture.
