According to Dr. Micheal, getting to know people from different backgrounds, understanding their needs, and helping them makes him happy. Also, being able to ease the (health) burden of aged people is very important and releases a very satisfying feeling in him. This made him decide to delve deeper and major in geriatrics. As an experienced doctor, he cares about the aged because as they age different changes they don't expect occur to them and may make them feel sad or socially reclusive. He then thought of it as very crucial to care for them, help them understand the changes they go through, and make them feel better about it. He decided to join Aged care GP in Australia. He also has different partnerships with other residential facilities across Melbourne (his area of residence in Australia). Some of his affiliations include IPC (Deer park) and IPC Health Wyndham Vale.

Whenever Dr. Micheal is at work at any of the aforementioned places, he sees the harmful effects of loneliness on older patients. He sees the influence of isolation and loneliness on the older patients who are losing touch with their family and friends. He, therefore, pays more concentration to their social issues. He encourages them and helps them feel better. He encourages them to share their social problems or issues with loved ones, as they know the staff can only offer clinical support adequately. He also recommends a program called "Social Prescribing" to his older patients for those social needs to be met. The outcome of the program has been positively outstanding. After getting medical care, the patients now have a way of improving their social lives. The elderly patients who used to be bitter while receiving clinical care have become freer and happier after being a part of the program. These results give Dr. Oladiran joy as he sees the positive transformation experienced by these older patients who now enjoy life more. He is also interested in mental conditions, geriatrics(aged care), benign and malignant skin lesions, and chronic (long-term)diseases. He currently gets involved in research topics, especially those relating to skin cancer.

Currently, he is based in Melbourne where he majorly works with the elderly at Aged Care GP. As an African man who was born in the western part of Nigeria, his native language is Yoruba. But despite this fact, he speaks the English language very fluently.
