What Is The Delta Missed Flight Policy?
If A Delta Missed Flight Policy you’ve booked is delayed, canceled or overbooked, we’ll rebook you on another available flight or offer you a refund. Delta has some of the best customer services out there, and our policies show it.

If A Delta Missed Flight Policy you’ve booked is delayed, canceled or overbooked, we’ll rebook you on another available flight or offer you a refund. Delta has some of the best customer services out there, and our policies show it. We want to make sure all of our customers are making it to their destination when they travel with us. This is what we at Delta call our “Missed Flight Policy.”The policy is broken down into three simple steps: Flight Delayed, Cancelled or Overbooked: If your flight is delayed, canceled or overbooked, you’ll be rebooked on an alternate Delta Air Lines flight. If the new flight departs within one hour of the originally scheduled flight departure time and arrives at the same destination and it means you can make your connecting flights, we’ll automatically re-route you without any additional fees. Just be sure to check in with your new flight no fewer than 30 minutes prior to departure. If the new flight requires a connection, you’ll be rebooked on another available flight.

If the new flight means you are no longer able to make your connection, we will transport you and any checked baggage overland between the connecting airports. When your shared

flight arrives at its destination, we will rebook you on a connecting Delta flight. Better Options: If you’d rather not fly overland or if you’d like to be rerouted on another airline, please notify us. We’ll do our best to place you on a more convenient flight. Any additional transportation costs will be covered by us.
