Thermoelectric Modules power generators can readily and effectively tap into this vast untapped supply of waste heat energy and convert it to electricity. For example, Fraunhofer Institute and BMW researchers are developing thermoelectric materials, modules, assemblies, and systems to recover waste heat from autos. This might lead to a reduction in automotive fuel usage.
