Bengaluru: Several regions in Bengaluru are waterlogged and streets lowered following weighty short-term downpours. This is the second opportunity in seven days the Karnataka state capital is seeing such serious waterlogging.

Numerous blood vessel streets were immersed while the storm cellars of condos were overwhelmed after the precipitation the previous evening. Waterlogging was accounted for in Outer Ring Road close to Ecospace, Bellandur, KR Market, Silk Board intersection, and Varthur. The IT passage also was waterlogged while a few houses were immersed in HBR Layout.

Visuals showed transports caught in the overflowed Old Airport Road. The street was lowered after last week’s precipitation as well and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had visited it two days prior.

Remarks

The climate office has anticipated weighty precipitation till September 9 across Karnataka, particularly in Bengaluru, and waterfront parts of the state. A Yellow alarm has been given in Kodagu, Shivamogga, Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Chikkamagaluru locale
