Take Care of Your Watch Strap

You have different types of watch straps available out there in the market. Before buying these straps, you have a concern about the watch strap getting worn out, dirty or damaged. You can buy an expensive strap; this will not save your watch strap from scraping against table corners or scratching it while using a computer keyboard. We can show you a few ways of taking care of your watch strap.

●    If you encounter an oil stain on your watch strap, get some powdered clay and sprinkle it over the leather strap. Let it stay there for a few hours, then rub it off with a dry cloth.

●    If your watch strap looks dirty, get some white vinegar; apply it on your watch strap and wipe it off with a damp sponge before it dries out.

●    Cleaning rubber, metal or nylon strap is easy. You need a brush and put some hard soap on it. Gently brush it and then clean it with a dry cloth.

It is recommended that you should have extra straps for your watch. For example, if you have a Fitbit Charge 3 watch, to increase its lifespan, buy aftermarket Fitbit Charge 3 straps so that one strap does not get all the pressure. Switch between straps, take care of them and increase their lifespan.
