It is the S-enantiomer of etiracetam, structurally just like the prototypical nootropic drugs piracetam.This drugs holds to a synaptic vesicle glycoprotein, SV2A, and prevents presynaptic calcium mineral programs. This is considered to prevent reaction transmission across synapses.
