Nitrous oxide, desflurane, isoflurane, and sevoflurane are some of the most commonly used inhalation anaesthetics. A laryngeal face airway and a tracheal tube connected to a vaporizer are used to administer these anaesthetics. They are highly effective in small doses, but when used excessively, they can cause respiratory depression, lower arterial blood pressure, and increase cerebral blood flow. In contrast to traditional intravenous anaesthesia, inhalation anaesthesia does not accumulate in the body and aids in preventing excessive dosage while promoting normal patient functioning.
Furthermore, the growing geriatric population is expected to drive market growth. Because of punctured blood vessels and issues with patient compliance, administering anaesthesia via intravenous route to geriatric patients is frequently inconvenient.
