What Is A Venous Ulcer?
A venous leg ulcer is a chronic, non-healing wound that occurs on the leg and takes more than 2 weeks to heal with traditional medical treatments. What Causes Them?
A venous leg ulcer is caused due to high pressure in the veins of the lower legs. The veins in the legs are responsible for carrying oxygen and nutrient-rich blood back to the heart.
