Microsoft Dynamics 365 has been a blockbuster of sorts ever since its release a few years back, and with all the 12 applications finding immense utility amongst organizations across the world, Microsoft has set its own pricing structure for the Dynamics 365 suite of business applications.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Pricing has been laid out under 4 different plans:

• Customer Engagement Plan: This plan has been devised for end users trying their best to make full use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 business applications to build and support customer relationships and starts at $115 per user per month. The plan includes apps that address critical aspects of business such as Customer Relationship Management, Sales, Customer Service, Field Service and Project Service Automation. Microsoft has set some terms and conditions for end users through this plan though, which make it clear that is the plan purchased has 10 or more users then the Marketing App is included with no additional charges for 2,000 contacts and in case the plan purchased has less than 10 users, then the Marketing App will cost an additional $750 per month for another 10,000 contacts. Additionally, end users get access to Microsoft Social Engagement and Microsoft PowerApps.

• Dynamics 365 Plan: Through this plan, Microsoft offers Microsoft Dynamics 365 to end users in a very cost-effective manner that begins from some $210 per user per month. End users through this plan will get access to all the applications laid out in the Customer Engagement Plan in addition to Dynamics 365 for Operations (now Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management).

• Unified Operations Plan: Under this plan, Dynamics 365 applications are aimed at helping end users to connect and manage their business operations smartly, with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Pricing structure being such that the plan starts at $190 per user per month. Also known as the Operations App, the plan includes Operations Apps such as Finance and Operations (Now Finance and Supply Chain Management), Talent and Retail. The plan also allows end users to buy two additional licenses, namely Operations Device and Operations Activity, the former costing $75 per user per month and the latter costing $50 per user per month.

• Separate Applications: End users through this plan get the flexibility to start with what they need and subsequently upgrade to plans as their business grows, the pricing structure starting from $40 per user per month and ranging up to $170 per user per month. Any application except for Retail, Talent, Devices and Operations Activity can be bought separately for $95 per user per month.

Dynamics 365 Sales: The app helps manage customers and deals right from Outlook. One gets to create personalized documents and emails for their respective sales teams and connect with customers on LinkedIn for more information about their companies and employees. The app is available at $95 per user per month for Sales Enterprise and $65 per user per month for Sales Professional.

• Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations: All the data from Account, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory and Customer Conversations is stored at a single place for a 360-degree view of the business. Moreover, this data remains up-to-date so that trends can be spotted and all kinds of negative issues get a head start. The app is priced at $115 per user per month for Finance & Operations, $70 per user per month for Business Central Essentials and $100 per user per month for Business Central Premium.

• Dynamics 365 Customer Service: The app lets end users give their customer service agents all the information needed from a single platform, a 360-degree view of sorts that includes a complete history of customer interactions and preferences. Pricing starts at $95 per user per month.

• Dynamics 365 Field Service: This app aims at making a field service team more effective, help manage service agreements and choose the most suitable technician for a particular job and oversee inventory from a single source instead of multiple sources. Pricing begins at $95 per user per month.

Dynamics 365 Marketing: This app helps automate marketing processes in a company to help take smarter decisions and generate new leads across various channels and has been priced at $1500 per month for 10,000 contacts and when bought with another app from Customer Engagement, costs $750 per month for 10,000 contacts.

• Dynamics 365 Operations for Talent: The app helps find the right people and streamline the whole process of hiring and onboarding with talent, its integration with LinkedIn making for a stronger case. Costing is set at $40 per user per month.
