The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) successfully conducted the ESIC UDC Prelims 2022 Phase-1 Exam on March 19, 2022.
The ESIC will fill 1769 Upper Division Clerk (UDC) posts from the 3882 vacancies of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Upper Division Clerk (UDC) and Stenographer vacancies on a regular basis through Direct Recruitment in ESIC.
In the three-phase selection process for the ESIC UDC 2022 the candidates were asked questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension in the Prelims and Mains. While their skills in using PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel will be tested in the Computer Skills Test.
In this article, I have shared the ESIC UDC 2022 Phase-1 Prelims Exam Analysis based on the Difficulty Level, Good Attempts, Section-wise Exam Review.
Before starting with the analysis let us first know about the pattern of the ESIC UDC Prelims examination.
ESIC UDC Exam has the following 4 sections in the objective test comprising 100 questions to be solved in 60 minutes (i.e. 1 hour):

As per the inputs provided by the candidates, the overall level of the ESIC UDC Prelims 2022 Phase-1 Exam was Easy to Moderate level. The detailed section-wise analysis & good attempts are given below.
Highlights of the ESIC UDC Prelims 2022 Phase-1 Examination;

The level of the overall examination was easy to moderate.

On average candidates managed to attempt 75 to 80 questions in the examination.

Candidates of the 2nd shift found the reasoning section at a moderate level.

The General Intelligence & Reasoning section was the easiest of them all.

Candidates who had prepared thoroughly found the exam to be simple to complete in the allotted time.

Quantitative Aptitude
The level of quantitative aptitude was Easy. In the 1st and 2nd shift, there was not any single question from data interpretation. The majority of the questions asked in this section were of Simplification and Arithmetic. An average good attempt of questions in this section was 20 to 23 questions.

General Intelligence & Reasoning
The level of General Intelligence & Reasoning was Easy to moderate. The majority of the questions asked in this section were of Puzzle and Seating Arrangement.

The level of English Comprehension was Easy to Moderate. The majority of the questions asked in this section were of Reading Comprehension.

An average good attempt of questions in this section was 19 to 21 questions.

General Awareness
The level of General Awareness was Moderate to Difficult. The majority of the questions in Current affairs were asked from the current events of December 2021 to January 2022. In Static G.K. Sections questions from Banking, Science, Finance and History were asked. An average good attempt of questions in this section was 18 to 20 questions.
