Why do we need an Inverter Battery?
Why do we need an Inverter Battery?
Nowadays inverter battery connections have become an essential part of our Daily uses. Inverter battery provides a continuous power supply to our homes when there is a power cut in our area.

Why do we need an Inverter Battery?

Every person in this world needs power. Human power consumption and demand have increased over millions of years because of evolution. However, power demands have peaked in the last 200 years because of the industrial revolution. To fulfill the need for power, humans developed various techniques to generate power from various sources,: petrol, diesel, natural gas, and coal are the major sources on which humans are dependent for power. They burn fuel and coal to get power from them. Apart from that, humans have also developed methods to get power from natural resources like water, air, sun, seas, etc. They are clean sources of energy. They produce energy without being burned. They are the never-ending source of energy, which we get free of cost.

How is power reached in our house?

There is a very systematic process of supplying power from Power generating sites to our house. The energy, generated is supplied through the transmission and power supply, in which generators, transformers, wires, and power stations are involved. However, what happens when not all the power is consumed as it is generated? There, we need a storage device that can store that power and use it when we need that power. To overcome that problem, engineers and scientists invented the inverter battery to store power in it. However, there is a problem with batteries. We only store DC (Direct Current) current and power. However, in our house, there is a supply of AC (Alternative Current). For that, we need a device that converts DC into AC and AC into DC, which we can store in a battery and then convert DC into AC to get a supply of power in our house. For that, they again develop a device, which can do both tasks, help us to store, and use that power. That device is an inverter battery setup.

 Types of Inverter Battery?

In our house, we use a set of inverter batteries by which we get uninterrupted power in our house. There are two types of batteries which are used in the

1. LED Acid Battery

 2. Lithium Ion Battery

Lithium ion Battery:-Lithium Ion inverter battery is a small, compact, safe, eco-friendly, powerful, dry, non-toxic gas released by the battery. Lithium Ion batteries are more expensive than LED acid batteries, but they are safer, more environmentally friendly, and have a longer lifespan. Lithium-ion batteries do not release any toxic gases, which are harmful to humans and the environment as well. Lithium-ion batteries are used in various fields like solar inverter batteries, inverter batteries, electric vehicles, automobile sectors, and electric vehicles.

LED Acid Battery:-LED Acid inverter batteries are commonly used in houses because they are cheap but led acid batteries are very heavy and bulky in weight. They are almost double in size compared to lithium-ion batteries. The LED acid battery is a wet battery in which water is used and converted into acid over time. Led Acid inverter batteries also release toxic gases, which are very harmful to humans and the environment. LED acid batteries produce hydrogen sulphide gas.

Price of the Inverter Battery?

An inverter battery costs Rs.32,000/ kWh. A regular house required power of approx. 4 kWh to operate independently. Therefore, we have to do our math to calculate the total investment essential for installing an Inverter battery at our home.

An average cost of an Inverter is Rs.5,000-6,000.

Inverter   Battery                                     Warranty                  Price

1,000 Watt Hour Inverter Battery         3 Years Warranty    Rs32, 000

2,000 Watt Hour Inverter Battery         3 Years Warranty    Rs65, 000

5,000 Watt Hour Inverter Battery         3 Years Warranty    Rs215, 000

Who is the manufacturer of Battery in India?

 1. Loom Solar (Also deals in the solar inverter, Solar Panel, Solar wire, Lithium Battery)

 2. Exide

 3. Luminous

4. Livguard

5. Microtek

 Which inverter Battery is best?

As we know something about the battery. Therefore, we can easily choose which battery is beneficial for us. A lithium Battery is very efficient and clean. Lithium battery is dry in nature and has double life than Led acid battery. Loom solar is also a manufacturer of lithium batteries. They do not discharge lithium battery. If we are thinking about an inverter battery then we have to go for the Loom solar Inverter battery.
