The old adage that “one is none and two is one” definitely holds true for tourniquets. In fact, it’s better to have four tourniquets spread out amongst your kit. In a combat situation, you may not need them, but your squadmates might. A single wound can sometimes require two tourniquets, as an exit wound may be in a different part of your body. Plus, they are also there for others to help you, should you ever need them. When it comes to being prepared for anything, always pack a spare.
