How to Reset your Chime Password
If you forget your password, you’ll not be ready to log into your account. The process to reset your chime password is as follows:
- Start your web browser
- Open the Chime website
- You will see the “Login” option in the upper right corner next to the “Male” icon. Click it
- The login page will appear with empty email and password fields. Below the “OK” button, you should see the “Forgot your password” tab. Click it
You will be directed to the password reset page, where you will be asked to enter the email address associated with your account. Enter your email then click “Send Email“. You may also be asked to enter the last four digits of your Social Security number to confirm your identity.
A message is going to be sent to your email inbox. Check your spam messages if you cannot find them in your inbox. The email will include a link to the page where you’ll reset your password. Click on the link
Fill in the new password twice when prompted and then click “Reset“
You should receive the successful password reset message which can include a link to the login page. Enter your new login details and proceed to log into your Chime account.
How to Change Your Personal Information In Chime Account
If you do not have access to the e-mail address with which you found a Chime account, you’ll have to change your email. You may also want to vary your personal information if you think that your account has been hacked. Fortunately, you’ll change your personal information both from the Chime app and from the web site . You can change your personal information by following these steps:
- Open the Chime app / website
- Login to your Chime account
- Go to settings’
- Click on the edit button that will be located in the upper right corner of the page.
Change your email address to one that you now have access to. You can also change other details, such as your password, so that you cannot log in with an authorization letter. You may need to provide proof of identity to change your personal information on Chime
