Bottled water is becoming more popular as people are more conscious about their health.

Bottled water is becoming more popular as people are more conscious about their health. Bottled water is convenient and easy to transport while ensuring high-quality water.

We have many years of experience in water treatment and have created comprehensive packages that are economically viable. This allows us to optimize capital outlay. Modules are available to allow for future expansion as demand grows.

Water, as it appears in nature, is extremely "pure". However, regardless of the source, water always contains impurities in solution or suspended. Water treatment is essential because of the importance of water analysis to determine the impurities.

There are three main categories of major impurities in water:

  • Non-ionic and undissolved physical impurities [Turbidity, Odour, Colour etc]
  • Ionic and dissolvable impurities (Ca, Mg. Na, So4, Cl. iron, etc.)
  • Microbiological impurities [ Bacteria, Virus, Pathogens etc]

Water purification can be achieved using a variety of processes. Various combinations of these processes are used to ensure the final product conforms to strict standards.

A Mineral water Plant can typically contain:

  • Water Treatment Plant
  • Packaging Plant

A water treatment plant consists of one or all of the following:

Chlorine/Hypochlorite Dosing System: The raw water is used to disinfect the water and oxidize iron or manganese. In a raw water storage tank, 3-4 ppm sodium hypochlorite is added. This reacts with the water to form hypo-chlorine acids that act as a disinfecting agent. This chemical preparation tank is made of LDPE and has an electronic diaphragm dosing pump.

  1. Raw Water Storage Tank
  2. To achieve the required detention time, raw water after chlorination must be stored
  3. Filter for Pressure Sand
  4. Filter with activated carbon

Antiscalant Dosing System
If the calcium and magnesium hardness salts are present in excess of their solubility limit, they can precipitate. This could lead to poor treatment water quality. This Antiscalant (scale inhibitor) system has been installed to prevent it. The recommended dosage is 4-5 ppm. This is a LDPE chemical preparation container with an electronic diaphragm dosing pump.

Micron Filters
Micron Filtration can be achieved using a series filter with the 20/10 Micron and 5 Micron filters, as well as the 1 Micron Cartridge filters. This item is consumable and should be replaced regularly
