1. KWI Certified Welders Program (CWP)
The CWP program is designed to provide training and certification to welders who wish to become certified by the American Welding Society (AWS). The AWS offers the following qualifications:
• Basic Welding Certification
• Journeyman Certification
• Master Certification
• Professional Certification
• Senior Professional Certification
• Expert Certification
• Supervisory Certification
The CWP program consists of three levels of certification. Each level requires passing a written exam, followed by hands-on welding experience. The first two levels require approximately 100 hours of welding experience, while the third level requires 200 hours.
2. KWI Certified Fabricator Program (CFW)
The CFW program provides welding training and certification to fabricators who wish to become certified through AWS. The AWS offers the following qualification:
