Nature fitness efforts for us Choosing a proper fitness programme One has to choose a fitness programme …be it yoga, walking aerobics,pilates,strength training, power yoga ,swimming,trekking,playing any sport whether hockey,cricket,football,badminton tennis or anything at home, workplace or gym….It should match your interest, health limitation, time and place and convenience. Don’t overexert yourself just for the sake of doing something to reduce weight or staying in shape.Health comes first…keeping up your energy level to do your assigned everyday work is more important than dieting or overexerting yourself. What does fitness actually mean? Keeping fit means doing your daily work more effectively, efficiently, joyfully.Eating healthy food, drinking lots of water, taking honey, juicy fruits like berries, avocado; green vegetables like celery, cabbage, spinach etc; sufficient protein, carbohydrates and a proper balanced diet meeting your energy requirement according to your age, sex, and work type, time and amount of physical or mental work and health condition and body limitation can meet your nutritional and energy requirement and keep you healthy and strong. Fitness must include proper workout for the various movement of the body parts and not letting fats and other toxins to get accumulated in the body. Lactic acid, uric acid, calcium can be flushed out from the body and utilised judiciously if proper diet and exercising is mixed with disciplined way of life. Fitness is the need of the hour Getting fit is not supposed to be a punishment…but it is a way of life to lead a happy, healthy, richer life plan. To be active and do things consistently while having fun and taking life as a adventure is the way to fitness for a person…be it a child,man,woman or the elders. Fitness should be made a part of life with children being motivated and made to practice dance,music,yoga some sport…care should be taken about giving them healthy, nutritious diet, avoiding too much oily and spicy food, junk food like pizza,burger,nonveg and having a health way of living…Early to bed and early to rise is just not a proverb to write…it must be followed in real life principle, speaking the truth to avoid depression, having a open a friendly atmosphere at home and workplaces,socializing,etiquettes,manners,social services, social contributions, patriotism ,respecting elders,meditating,exchanging good thoughts, playing indoor games like chess,ludo carom with family, spending time with friends and family members, grandparents and relatives make the children and adults a mentally and emotionally as well as physical fit individual. Be fit to put into use the gift of god-human life for the purpose we are here for-helping others and not being a burden on the humanity and earth. Fitness is God’s will for us.
