1. Eat and drink with your right hand

Ibn 'Umar reported the Prophet(as saying: When any of you eats, he should eat with his right hand, and when he drinks, he should drink with his right hand, for the devil eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand. Note: you do not need to eat directly with your hand to fulfill this Sunnah. You can use utensils, just make sure to hold them in your right hand to eat.

2. Say Bismillah before eating

Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When one of you eats a meal, let him begin in the name of Allah. If he forgets to say it in the beginning, then let him say: In the name of Allah in its beginning and ending.

3. Say Bismillah when you enter your home

Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When a man enters his home and remembers Allah when he enters and while he eats, Satan says to himself: You have no place to spend the night and no meal for evening. When he enters his home without remembering of Allah, Satan says to himself: You have found a place to spend the night. When he does not remember Allah while he eats, Satan says: You have found a place to spend the night and an evening meal.
