Woman got kicked off a plane over 10kg boobs
We’ve heard about problems with some plus size women who are boarding planes. There should be no problems, but there has been some recent news about overweight men and women flying.
Here is a story about a woman who got kicked off a place over her 10kg boobs. While this may shock you, let us recall what some plus size women said about their flying experiences.
When looking for a first-class adventure, plus-size travellers are frequently treated as second-class citizens, some say.
“Airlines and resorts roll out the red carpet for people with traditional bodies,” full-figured fashion influencer Stephanie Nadia, 33, told journalists.
“However, whenever I travel and have to request a seat belt extender or an extra-large hotel bathrobe, I feel like the ‘unwelcome mat,'” the Brooklyn, USA native reportedly said.
Size-inclusive travellers have recently made viral calls for more body-inclusive accommodations to be available on planes, hotels, and destination excursions on Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram.
But our story today is about Mary Magdalene who claims she was kicked off a flight because of her appearance.
A model with 10kg breasts, she claims she was kicked off the flight recently because of her boobs. She also claims the airline made her feel “dehumanised.”
But, in their defence, the cabin crew on the plane claim it was for a completely different reason.
Mary Magdalene, 25, arrived at the airport on May 31 to board a flight from Toronto, Canada, to Dallas, Texas, but she was allegedly told to leave the flight after passing through security and boarding.
The crew claims she was removed because she was wearing headphones and not listening to flight attendant instructions, but Mary believes it was because of her appearance.
Mary was dressed in leggings and a sports bra at the time and claimed the crew kicked her out because she “looked too explicit.”
Another plane incident
In April of this year, popular South Korean DJ Soda claims she had just boarded a plane from New York to Los Angeles when members of the flight crew told her her pants were “inappropriate” and “offensive.”
She was forced to change clothing.
“I was forced off the plane and harassed at the gate to take off my pants in front of the flight crews,” the 36-year-old wrote on Instagram and Twitter.
“I’ve never had an issue wearing this pair of pants before in my many months of touring in North America, and they had no problem with me wearing it at check-in or when I sat down at my seat.”
More Boobie Traps
In 2020, a woman was denied boarding a flight at LaGuardia Airport because she was wearing a low-cut top.
Kayla Eubanks said she was getting ready to board a Southwest Airlines flight to Chicago wearing a black halter top and a long red skirt when a gate attendant told her she was in violation of the company’s dress code.
She took a cell phone video of the encounter. Southwest stated that they “do everything possible to promote a family-centric environment.” They also stated that they apologised and offered Eubanks a refund.
Back to Mary Magdalene who says, “I was kicked off the flight for how I look. Please stop discrimination, please this is disgusting. I feel so embarrassed and dehumanised right now, you guys have no idea.
“Obviously [my outfit] is why she kicked me off, because I look too explicit. But that’s not legal so she had to say it’s because I was sleeping and wouldn’t hear her.”
After being kicked off the flight, Mary says she intends to sue the unnamed airline – though she has not yet done so.
