Sistar Sun RA was conceived Casundra Hightower in the country town of Longview, Texas. She and her numerous kin grew up encompassed by people confronting affliction reflecting their own presences. Her encounters with harassing, sexual maltreatment, body disgracing, liquor abuse, illicit drug habits, destitution, vagrancy, dysfunctional behaviors, and broken connections drove her into co-creation with the universe by composing.
