Originally from Kentucky, Morris went on to play for the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks, where he was named to the NBA's All-NBA First Team in 2011. He was also named to the NBA's All-NBA Second Team in 2011. In 2011, he was also named to the NBA's Second Team All-Star team. The Beijing Ducks have had him on their roster since 2010, and he has played in a total of six seasons for the team during his tenure with them.
