Ivermectin is an antiparasitic agent. It acts against the parasite by selectively binding to the glutamate-gated chloride ion channels present in the nerve and muscle cells of the organisms. Binding of ivermectin to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels increase the influx of chloride ion which results in hyperpolarization, leading to paralysis and death of the parasite.

Iverheal 12  contains ivermectin which belongs to a group of medicines called anthelmintics. It is used to treat various parasitic infections, such as onchocerciasis, intestinal strongyloidiasis, filarial worm infestations

Onchocerciasis (also known as river blindness) is a parasitic (worm) infection that primarily affects the skin, lymph nodes, and eyes. It is characterized by skin rashes, itching, subcutaneous bumps, swollen glands in the neck, armpits, and groin, eye pain, or blindness. Intestinal strongyloidiasis (worm infection) is a parasitic infection that primarily affects the skin and intestines. It is characterized by skin  Iverheal 6   rashes, itching, stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhea. Lymphatic filariasis is a worm infection that affects the lymph nodes and lymphatic vessels, while microfilaremia is a heartworm infection that affects the blood.

Scabies is a transmissible skin infection that can be spread from person to person through direct skin contact, including s*xual contact and contact through exposure to clothing or furniture used by the infected person. It is characterized by intense skin itching (especially at night) with blisters or irritating nodules on the skin that mainly affect the regions between the   Ziverdo Kit  fingers, armpits, breasts, penis, buttocks, scalp, palms and soles of the feet.

IVERHEAL 12 cannot be used as a prophylactic against all of these infections and does not work against adult worms. To prevent the spread of infections (for example, scabies), wash your clothes and bedding frequently in hot water and store all non-washable items in a tightly closed plastic bag for at least 3 days. Cut your nails frequently. People who come into contact with you (for example, friends, family, and relatives) should also visit the doctor as soon as possible as a safety measure. This medication is generally safe and well tolerated. However, it can cause nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and muscle aches in some people. See your doctor if it bothers you. It is not recommended for use in pregnant or lactating women and children (weighing less than 15 kg). Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
