What are the types of Graft Versus Host Disease (GvHD)?

Kinds of GVHD

Acute: Usually appears in the first few weeks or months following transplant. When it manifests three or more months after transplant, it is referred to as Late Acute Graft Versus Host Disease.

Chronic: Usually appears a year after the transplant. When the symptoms of acute and chronic Graft Versus Host Disease coexist, it is referred to as overlap chronic GVHD.
