Despite the situation in the automotive sector in Europe due to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus, sales of electric cars have been able to overcome the general decline in 2020.
Between the of January and March 2020, electric car sales enrolled a total of 127,800 registrations, 57% more than in the first quarter of the previous year. Therefore the decline of the European market has not had a very negative effect on electric car registrations.
