Taking a step further towards realizing the dream of having 40 GW of installed rooftop solar capacity in India by 2022, the cabinet approved the phase-II of "Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Programme" on 19 February 2019
The key objectives of the program include promoting grid-connected rooftop solar plants in all consumer segments, bring DISCOMs at forefront as key drivers for rooftop solar plants and to create additional rooftop solar capacity in the country. Visit here to know more about it.
