A logic bomb, also known as slag code is a type from malicious software that hackers can insert into an electronic system, software program, or other electronic device. The code is inactive until it is activated by a specific situation. When the bomb is activated by a trigger, the code "explodes" and wreaks havoc on your system. The thing that makes it even more dangerous is that it may explode several times before you are aware of it. Typically they are designed to detonate at a certain date. They are sometimes known as time bombs. Some kinds of logic bombs can be activated by opening a particular document or enter a certain command on your computer. Typically, these types of logic bombs are set up by someone who has access to the highest level like a system administrator.
