Shallow water fixed-foundation wind turbines are used in the majority of offshore wind projects.Onshore wind is the kind that originates from the ocean and blows toward land. Offshore wind, on the other hand, is a wind that originates on land and blows toward the ocean. 

Usually, pressure variations in the atmosphere cause the winds to arise. Electricity is produced by Offshore Wind farms using wind that blows across the water. Due to the higher wind speeds, greater consistency, and lack of physical interference from the land or man-made objects, they are thought to be more efficient than onshore wind farms.Utilizing offshore wind turbines, power is produced. Electricity is transported back to the land to a main connection point through a network of cables and substations, where it is distributed to power homes and businesses.
