A room divider can also give your home a makeover!

This bookcase/room divider was designed to give you maximum storage space for all of your books, DVDs, records, CDs, and anything else you can think of. It can hold up to 456 pounds! Not only does it keep everything organized but it's also stylish too.

Two sets of twin beds are tucked behind two large sliding doors which are adorned with lovely contrasting wallpaper making this room perfect for a child or even just as an office space. The simple wood frame holds the bed in place and the matching nightstand is off to the side. You can choose if you want just one or both nightstands because they come in pairs along with the two large twin beds that tuck away nicely when not in use.

The room divider can be divided into three sections and each section is deep enough to fit a standard twin-size bed. You'll also notice that the room divider has two small windows on either side of it for extra lighting or just as a way to sneak a peek at what might be going on behind the room divider!

We recommend this room divider/bookcase for children's rooms, recording studios, office spaces, etc. It's really up to your imagination!

Step 1: Gather all of your materials!

Step 2: Create a room where you want your room divider/bookcase

Step 3: Place items in the room as desired so you have an idea of how much space is available between pieces.

If there's room for a twin-size bed between two pieces then place one there to help you visualize how much space is available.

Step 4: Create a room divider that fits snugly into a room and allows room for your desired items.

The room divider should be snug enough so that you can't see under it from outside of the room but not made so tight as to prevent the room divider from moving. If it's too tight, make another room divider or leave a little more room between furniture pieces.

Step 5: Decorate with whatever pleases you!

The price listed is for everything in this post including the dining table, bookcase/room divider, four chairs, and even the chairs' cushions! It also includes a room divider that's roomy enough to fit a twin-size bed inside of it and two matching nightstands.

There are small differences between the room divider pictured above and the one in this post that has been priced for sale. The room divider in this post will be slightly more crowded as all of the pages have been included versus just those pages needed to divide up the room properly. Also, there is no wallpaper on either side of room divider as shown above but it does include a special patterned wallpaper design if you do choose to place paper on it.

For those who want to make their own room divider/bookcase, I've created blueprints of my room divider below! You can print these out on standard computer paper and tape them together to create your room divider! The room divider above was created using these blueprints. For those who want the room divider/bookcase "as is" with no customization or changes, I'd like to offer my services as a room planner. I will move items around in your room according to what you desire and input them into a room plan which includes photos of the finished product along with pricing for each piece.

FAQs:

Q: I don't have room for a room divider. What can I do?

A: Place items on the floor where the room divider should be, find yourself something to rest atop them and snap a photo of it! Photoshop your room divider into place or just leave text notes in its place that say "Do Not Move" or "Please Respect My Items and Do Not Move Them".

Or if you're not able to afford even free items, Google room planners before you need them so you'll have an idea of what goes where ahead of time. You can also do rooms plans with boxes if nothing else is available. Just stack the boxes up nicely and take a picture of it

Q: Isn't this room plan awfully cluttered?

A: It is cluttered but I made room for twin-size beds in each room so they could be stored easily when not in use. Also, the room divider only goes back as far as it does because I wanted to add windows on either side of the room divider/bookcase which can't happen if the room divider goes all the way to the wall.

Conclusion:

The room divider/bookcase costs $1,000 which includes everything in this post. If you'd like one room divider at roomy enough to fit a twin size bed inside of it and two matching nightstands then just add another $500 to the price! I'll be offering room planning services starting at $12 per room when I get back into Animal Crossing: New Leaf so just add an additional $10 to that price if you want me to move things around for you! If you're interested in these services please leave a comment below or send me a note about your interest and we can work out the details from there!
