There's been a quite a gap between the last and next Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG sneaker release; the Rebellionaire Jordan 1s from early March were the last pair that hit retail, while the next on the ledger isn't scheduled until the end of May. While we may feel a bit deprived of AJ1s, there will be a big wave of OG 1s coming this summer 2022 - one of which being this Stage Haze colorway. Consisting of a simple mix of white, black, and grey fog, this Air Jordan 1 is accented by a touch of bleached coral on the Nike Air on the tongue label as well as the insole.
The Nike Off White bubble gum reference inspires subtle detailing, including a printed bubble gum splat on the bottom of the outsole. Says Petrie, The Soldier line wouldn't be what it is without that performance. In the Fall of 2006, Jordan Brand brought the sneaker back to the masses in the other two original colors a Mars Blackmon-inspired Fire Red and Military Blue and a series of newer colorway options for men and women.
Seen here for the first time is an all-new Stealth colorway in a super-crisp white grey colorway. The color-blocking is similar to the Air Jordan 1 Heritage as well as the rare royal-toe sample from 1985 one that was later referenced in the Travis Scott x fragment collaboration. Seemingly inspired by the original Off-White x Nike Shoes Air Jordan 1's Royal ensemble from 1985, the upcoming retro opts for a two-tone arrangement across its leather upper.
So is the pant, with sateen taping down the sides, which also provides function through the zippered hand pockets. The neoprene bootie and exoskeletal upper offered a snug feel and a deft balance between a constant hug and lace-based customization. Underfoot, sole units keep things simple in White Black, not detracting from the titular Particle Grey hue. Soon, it began to transcend organizations.
Inspired by the light pink hues of bubble gum, this women's exclusive features a mix of matte nubuck and patent leather. Despite coming off the release of arguably the greatest Air Jordan ever - the Air Jordan 11 - the Air Jordan 12 still drew fans to stores in droves Nike x Off-White as MJ won yet another NBA Championship. As the model enters its 30th anniversary, however, it's set to satisfy countless enthusiasts' desire for a proper retro of some of its most iconic colorways, including 2006's Citrus makeup.
Perhaps the lone visual deviation in the line, the Soldier II was created for LeBron to wear in Beijing during the summer of 2008. The upper was slightly stripped down without the straps, while its construction focused on durability features like a reinforced lateral rand. We not only wanted to prepare LeBron for that summer, but we wanted players who watched him to be able to play on outdoor courts and not rip through their shoes, says Petrie. The traction was inspired by hardy milk crates and would inform other elements of the shoe, like the square perforations in the rand.
