When your iPad has network issues, the one trick that often works is resetting the network to factory default. So, keep it in the kit of your go-to solutions as well.

Bear in mind, resetting the network will remove Hotspot, VPN settings and disconnect Wi-Fi. So, you will need to reconnect to Wi-Fi and set VPN again.

To set the network to factory default, head into the Settings app > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Resetting all settings to factory default is considered a radical solution. And rightly so, as it wipes out all the existing settings including the keyboard dictionary, the Home screen layout, privacy settings, Apple Pay cards , and network settings (your app and media remain safe). Thus, you should use it only when none of the basic tricks is working.

It can come in handy in various situations like fixing the sluggish performance, resolving network issues or even troubleshooting the unresponsiveness of the Retina Display.

To do so, navigate to the Settings app > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

Whether your iPad is running too slow or tends to overheat unexpectedly, decluttering the storage can help fix the problem. Thankfully, you can keep a track of the total available storage on your device and also find out the culprits that have captured more storage.

To check how much storage is left on your iPad, head over to Settings app > General > iPad Storage. On this screen, you should see a breakdown of how the storage has been consumed on your device.

Keeping both the apps and iOS updated to the latest version can go a long way in keeping your device healthy. So, as soon as you get a chance to update apps or the software, go for it without much delay.

Update the app on your iPad: Open App Store>your avatar. Now, update the app individually or all at one go.

Not for nothing, restoring is considered as the nuclear solution. So, you should go for it only when none of the above-mentioned solutions has worked for you.

Bear in mind, restoring wipes out the entire data on the iPad, including app and media. Therefore, back up your tablet before going for the kill.
