The Cytokine division belongs to Creative Proteomics, which specializes in providing cytokine research and analysis services for researchers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, as well as academic institutes and government agencies. Creative Proteomics Cytokine recently announced the launch of the colony stimulating factor detection platform for scientific research.
Colony-stimulating factors (CSF) are secreted glycoproteins. They bind to receptor proteins on the surface of hematopoietic stem cells. By doing so, CSFs activate intracellular signaling pathways that lead to cell proliferation and differentiation into specific types of blood cells (usually leukocytes). In contrast to other membrane-bound substances of the hematopoietic microenvironment, colony-stimulating factors are soluble. They are transduced via paracrine, endocrine, or autocrine signals.
Colony-stimulating factors are cell colonies that stimulate the formation of different hematopoietic stem cells in semi-solid media during in vitro studies of hematopoietic cells. Colony-stimulating factor can quantify antigen or antibody components in body fluids, study the synthesis of anti-enzyme antibodies, localize various intracellular components in immunoenzymatic staining, and show trace immunoprecipitation reactions. Creative Proteomics can provide a colony-stimulating factor assay platform for scientific research according to different experimental purposes and help clients accelerate their projects.
“Creative Proteomics has multiple CSF detection platforms such as the multiplex Luminex cytokine assay platform, flow cytometry, and ELISA. Luminex multiplex detection is driven by xMAP technology, which can simultaneously detect and quantify more than 500 protein molecules, including cytokines, hormones, autoantibodies, tumor markers, etc.,” stated Creative Proteomics’s senior scientist.
He further added, “We will choose the right technology combination according to your project, meet your various needs, and help researchers obtain higher-quality scientific research data.”
For different needs, Creative Proteomics offers the following assays.
1. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay: Investigate gene expression and cytokine mRNA transcription abundance.
2. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA): The specific binding of antibody molecules to antigen molecules. Separate free contaminants from the target protein bound to the solid-phase carrier, and use special markers for qualitative or quantitative.
3. Flow cytometry: Detect multiple indicators from a single specimen at the same time.
