Wind bracing steel building, for example, facades will sometimes respond such as, “Is that bracing away? It’s in front of the windows’. In such a case, we say: a beautiful construction can always be seen! But what function does wind bracing actually have?

The rigidity of a structure is obtained by applying stability bracing, also called wind bracing, because of these transfer the forces of the wind to the foundation.

Wind braces are applied to the roof surface and the walls to make the construction rigid. Stability bandages are used to:

To absorb splash and shear forces caused by, for example, the cantilevering of beams.

We mainly use angular lines in the roof surface because they can transmit many forces, and they sag much less than, for example, round steel and strips. Because the mutual distances do not have to be too great, we use printers or coupling sleeves, coupling pipes. Wind bracing steel buildings on the roof surface is rarely a problem for the end-user.

Wind bracing metal building is usually performed across as the construction can be subject to wind forces from both sides. So one brace is always effective.

A stability bandage or wind bandage, or wind cross keeps the portal “straight”. The forces are dissipated to the foundation. The foundation must, therefore, also be designed for the forces.

Wind bracing can also be produced as round steel with beautiful gaffs. But if it is a problem, the bracing cannot just be left out or taken away. Wind bandages cannot, therefore, be removed just like that.

In some cases, there is masonry between the columns. If this is the case and the masonry is installed “sat” between the columns, it is sometimes possible to omit the relevant wind bracing metal building or wind cross.

In the design phase, it can often be seen whether bracing is “in the way”. In that case, we can already apply another solution, for example, by replacing the cross with a momentary portal or a single strut that can be subjected to tension and pressure, so that the window or possibly a door can simply be put in place without a bracing is running in front.
