The Music of Prayer From A Class in Wonders
The Music of Prayer From A Class in Wonders
There are two books by Kenneth Wapnick on, "The Healing Power of Kindness." Size 1 is on, "Releasing Judgment" and Quantity 2 on, "Flexible Our Limitations." I think, these should really be expected studying and continuing study proper who's a serious Program student. The following passage claims all of it:

deborah the third report in the line on the "miracle" and the "mind," we will provide kindness and unkindness in to the conversation about specialness. In A Program in Wonders (ACIM), kindness is associated with humility and learning and unkindness is with arrogance and specialness. The miracle-minded obviously select humility, learning and kindness which means they'll ultimately learn to forgive all specialness that is what keeps the separation from God. Opinion in separation applies to everybody else who's the One Child perceiving Herself as split up and various fragments. All unkindness stems from the panic in your head once we repress our anxiety and guilt instead of flexible our specialness desires. We blame and task it onto others who're actually part of people in reality.

You will find two publications by Kenneth Wapnick on, "The Therapeutic Power of Kindness." Volume 1 is on, "Delivering Judgment" and Quantity 2 on, "Flexible Our Limitations." For me, these should really be expected reading and continuous examine for everyone who's a serious Course student. These passage says everything:

Once you reserve the excellent metaphysics of A Class in Miracles and its innovative emotional ideas, the Program could be pared down to one easy rule: Be kind. If you're perhaps not sort, then not only are you perhaps not exercising the Class, there is number way you may even start to understand it. Irrespective of how amazing your knowledge of its metaphysics may be, if you are maybe not being kind toward someone else, you are maybe not doing what that Course is asking (The Therapeutic Power of Kindness, Vol.1: Delivering Judgment by Kenneth Wapnick, p. 10, underline mine).

This inability to seriously practice A Program in Miracles' kind rules of forgiveness which they examine, and occasionally even teach, has perhaps been probably the most significant declining among its students. This book's sequel, "Several Decide to Listen," discusses how students often cover acim thought system of specialness underneath the guise of spiritual counseling or friendship. The absence of easy kindness is, unfortuitously, beautiful to all except the Program student making the spiritual pronouncements (The Concept Of A Class in Miracles: All Are Called, p. 306).

The non-dualistic indicating of kindness can't be understood here within the knowledge of dualism as long as specialness is consistently opted for as the confidence hails from an unkind believed against God and Heaven. Our unwillingness to identify this concerning the ego, and what all that believed process is ready to do, is something that stops our development with the Course. We should be willing to consider the confidence with the Sacred Nature - the actual Teacher - and get that darkness to Him for forgiveness. Nothing could be concealed and that's right from the Course.

In his publications on kindness, Mr. Wapnick also discusses the source of a person's unkind behavior is exactly the same concern (and repressed guilt) that is in our personal brain and that's what unites us. We also provide exactly the same right-mind and exactly the same ability to select between them. Choosing to be kind does not produce us different or better; rather it indicates we are ready to rehearse the "sort principles" of the Course so that we can understand to comprehend every thing it's teaching. It's simply a problem of priority.

He continues on to say that in understanding how exactly to be kind towards others, we're exercising being sort toward ourselves because, "you and your brother are one. They're an integral part of you. You are not different." This goes straight to the center of the ego's thought process wherein the concept of huge difference is how the confidence started - God and His Son were separate and various - and undoes it. Even the slightest trace of specialness could be the ego. What he is saying becomes obvious if you really examine and exercise the kind forgiveness of the Program!

A critical student of the Class needs to learn what that means. These students would rather be a pleased learner with the only true instructor - the Sacred Nature - instead of a spiritually particular teacher of the pride in just about any form. They are pleased to master from Him just how to be without any the burdens connected with questioning the Reality:Forgiveness' kindness is unknown in the beginning, because salvation is not recognized, or truly sought for (S-2.I.1). And here you will set down the burden of denying truth. This is actually the burden that is terrible, and maybe not the truth (T-21-VI.7).

Self versus "self" -or- Personality versus "identity" In the Program, there's a distinction involving the "Self" which will be our true Identity as Christ and the "self" personality with the ego. This is a key point to understand as the first welcomes the function Lord offered people through being God-created; nevertheless the latter is self-created and fully dependent on the ego and its function of vengeance and sustaining separation. Every one currently feels they're the ego. We wouldn't be here otherwise.
