I wanted to share with you a bit about why we produced our summertime reading program.
For me, it was due to the fact that of my trainees.
Throughout the years of teaching in my personal learning center, moms and dads would bring their kids to me that were behind in reading and spelling.

Often they were just a little bit behind, in some cases they were way behind, and sometimes they were at grade level and just wanted to advance faster.
In some cases this was because the students had discovering difficulties like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was simply due to the fact that the instructors did not teach all of the particular abilities required to check out.
There is a science-proven, step-by-step manner in which all children can succeed with reading. However, sadly, instructors themselves often are not taught how to teach kids in this way.

The issue was that I was just able to see them for an hour at a time and only two times a week.
How could I get these trainees' abilities up while not just summer reading program near Atlanta - GA state offering a band-aid solution?
