Brian Robinson, the agent for Washington Commanders ran back, criticized the team's disgusting use of his client's shooting as a response to the District of Columbia attorney General's announcement about the organization.
Brian Robinson Responds to The Washington Commanders using His Shooting In Controversial Message
"Less then three months ago, a player on our team, aged 23 years, was shot multiplely, in broad daylight," the statement began. It was before Racine mentioned that he would hold a press conference about the team, "despite the out of control violent crime in DC."
Robinson spoke with Ron Rivera, Commanders head coach, about Robinson's gunshot incident. This incident is not important to the rookie running back.
Robinson stated, "I told him what I felt about it and put that past me." Robinson said, "I cannot control that." "I'm going to keep doing what I have been doing."
"I have to be stronger than the things I'm up against. Since then, that's been my experience. That's what I must do."
Terry McLaurin, a commanders receiver, and Charles Leno Jr., an offensive lineman, expressed their support for Robinson.
According to ESPN, Leno stated that "Everyone wants PC, but it's upsetting." He should not have been part of that situation. Let's just say that it was. I think his feelings and the things he has been through should have been treated as a separate matter.
Robinson was not used in the statement by the Commanders.
D.C. attorney general Karl Racine announced on Thursday that his office had filed a civil lawsuit against the Commanders and Dan Snyder, NFL team owner, and Roger Goodell, commissioner, over allegations of colluding with D.C. residents regarding an investigation into toxic workplace culture.
The Commanders failed to accomplish anything and make the organization look worse.
Robinson has 219 yards rushing and a touchdown on just 67 carries in five games this season.
