Ford expands its range of Kuga electrified SUVs with the new Ford Kuga Hybrid.
Ford specifies the average consumption for the hybrid at 5.3 to 5.4 litres. The 54-litre petrol tank enables ranges of up to 1,000 kilometres without refuelling. Power is transmitted by a continuously variable automatic transmission. The liquid-cooled battery with a capacity of 1.1 kWh allows shorter distances to be covered purely electrically. The battery in the Ford Kuga Hybrid is charged while driving or through the recuperation of the braking energy.
